Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Thanks Yukon!

Oboyoboyoboy! Guess what I got today? A package from my good pal Yukon. Woweee! Thanks thanks thanks Auntie Soraya and Yukon!!! There was so much stuff in the package. I got a neat-o froggie stuffie that croaks when I bite it. Then there was a bag and a jar of treats and bully sticks. And there was even a doggie board game. Mommie wanted to try playing but I was just too excited and could not sit still coz of the froggie and the treats. Hehe! She said it would be a great game to bring to Abbey's barkday pawty coz doggies can play with their Mommies. Wish Yukon could come so he can play, too.

Here are some pix of me with Yukon's surprise. You can click on the image to make it bigger.

My Latest Adventures

Mommie's friends came to visit us and we went to SF for the afternoon. We had snacks at a crepe place called Ti Couz and I got to sit by the window. One of them went in to inquire about something and when I saw her inside, I proceeded to enter the restaurant via the window to go to her. The man standing inside was startled when a fluffy white dog appeared by his side. Haha! A few of the patrons came over to give me some pats. That was great. I love getting attention from people. I miss it when I am stuck at home resting. Then we went to Sausalito to look at the view and then ate dinner in SF. The restaurant even gave me a little doggie bowl to drink from. But paranoid Mommie still made sure I drank from the water cup she brought. Can't be too careful. But she dumped a bit of the water they gave so they would not be insulted that I could not drink from their bowl. :) There were a lot of people walking by and lots of them patted me. A lady eating inside the restaurant was entertained by watching me eating my dinner. I have not had good appetite off late so Mommie does the pretend-kibble-is-an-airplane-game and flies it into my mouth. It is fun so it gets me to eat. The lady kept smiling at me and eventually came out to pat me on the head. Everyone else was cold even under the restaurant's heater but I loved it. I was outdoors and it was great. Even though my seat was the farthest from the heater, it did not matter coz my natural sweater kept me warm. Ah the things my Mommie and her pals endure for me. Hehe! After dinner, I kept Mommie warm by sitting on her lap. Her friend went to get the car. I got valet service from her friend so that I do not have to walk far to the parking spot. I am one lucky dog! But we had one bad experience during the afternoon. Mommie had to go use the restroom so her friends stayed outside with me. While they were chatting, a doggie came to sniff me. Mommie does not allow strange dogs to come near me in case I catch anything bad from them but they did not notice the other dog until it was already sniffing my nose. Then it suddenly attacked and tried to bite my nose. I jumped back and did my best grrr so that he would go away. His owner pulled him away and Mommie's friends checked my snout to make sure I was not hurt. Mommie was real scared when she found out what happened. It is too bad. I was looking forward to saying hello to doggie pals and the dog I saw was a meanie. Pooh!

On Saturday, my last goldfish died. Mommie promised to get me new ones. It was sad coz the bowl was empty when I went to visit my fishies. So off to Petsmart we went. We saw some dogs there but Mommie made me ride in the cart so I could not go near them. I whined a bit wanting to say hello so she quickly steered me over to the fish tanks. I forgot about the doggies when I saw all the fishies. We got 4 small goldfish and a beta fish. One of the sales people saw us along the aisles and pet me and asked for a kiss. I smelled her face for a bit but I do not really kiss people. She got disappointed that I would not kiss her. Little did she know she would be thankful in the next moment. So she asked us if we needed help finding anything. Mommie said we were looking for anti-poop-eating pills. Haha! Her face said it all. Not so disappointed in not getting a kiss anymore. So after she found out that was what we were looking for she still continued to pat me but did not ask for kisses anymore. Hahaha!

Here we are having a snack. I got the window seat all to myself. I had to stand so that I would be seen in the picture.

We got our pictures taken in front of a fountain in Sausalito.

Lake Tahoe

Mommie has been promising to take me to see the snow since last year. So this year she finally made good on her promise. She and her friends took me to Lake Tahoe. We stayed at a cabin coz it was too far to drive and come back the same day. And this way I could get some rest anytime while we were there.

It was a really cozy cabin. At first I slept on the airbed with Mommie but I did not like it so I promoted myself to the real bed and slept with the others. It is much more comfy to be on a real bed. Teehee! The best part of the cabin was there was a big backyard so my bathroom was huge!!!

Is this all the snow there is? I think we got jipped.
Good thing there was a bit more in the other parts. They all kept staying indoors. I could not understand. It was all nice and cold outside.

Whee! I love the snow! I left my little pawprints all over the place.

We drove around the lake a bit to see some vista points. A lady at one of the places we stopped got her picture taken with me and I gave her a kiss on the cheek. But it was their camera so we don't have a copy.
