The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Doggie Stairs

Mommie had planned to get me doggie stairs for Christmas but decided to get it early so I could start using it immediately. They are on sale at the Walgreens store for just $10. At Bed, Bath and Beyond, it is $40 but I guess it is much pricier there coz it looks more fancy and has 4 steps instead of 3. But I am good with the Walgreens one coz I do not need it to be too high. The three steps are good enough to get me up on the bed. I've still been having a hard time jumping on and off the bed. When I jump off, I land on my feet and it hurts so I have to limp for a bit before I can walk properly. It happens to my front foot sometimes but sometimes my back foot. So what I have been doing is I will go to the edge and ask to be carried down the bed. Sometimes I am thirsty and look at my water bowl on the floor longingly while waiting for someone to carry me down. But now that I have my doggie stairs, I can go up and down as I please. Wheee! But that first morning, I was so sleepy I forgot about the stairs and rushed to jump on the bed after I went for my morning pee and poop session. I did not make it and my belly hit the side of the bed and I fell to the floor. Ouch!

My Cousins

I love my cousins and they love me, too. But they like to play with my toys and sometimes I do not want to share. I usually carry them to the other side of the room away from them. Haha! But sometimes I am good and let them since they do not come to visit that often.

Itching To Go Out

I have been itching to go out for weeks now. But alas it was not to be. I was supposed to spend Halloween with my pals Luna and Loki but I was not able to go. I fell off the bed at 2am on Thursday of last week and have not fully recovered. I was sleeping soundly and turned over and fell off. Mommie and Daddy woke up when they heard me land on the floor. They checked my gums and said they were very pale. It took a while for the color to return and when it came time to eat my breakfast, I did not have any appetite. Mommie had to coax me to eat enough so I could take my medication. And when they were at work, I threw up. Good thing Grandma was there to take care of me. Mommie keeps telling me not to sleep on the edge but I love it there. I love to dangle my feet over the edge. Sometimes I dangle my head, too. When we go to bed at night, I am in between Mommie and Daddy coz I like to have my bedtime cuddle but after a while it gets too hot for me coz they have the blanket and comforter so once they are asleep, I move to the edge.

I have not been jumping on and off the bed the past few days. I will wait for Mommie to carry me on or off it. I did try this morning but my leg hurt when I landed so am not gonna try it again for a while.

Then yesterday, Mommie's alarm did not go off. She thinks it may have gotten disabled when her phone fell the night before. I was so sleepy even I did not get up. I usually get up at 6am coz I know it is breakfast time. But yesterday, I just snoozed away. When Daddy woke up at 830, he asked Mommie if I had eaten and of course I had not. So they were in a panic to wake me up to feed me breakfast and my medication. They said my gums were pale again. So Mommie decided not to let me go visit with Luna and Loki and to just have me spend a quiet Halloween at home. Sniff! I was so looking forward to my play date.
