The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I have the luck of the Irish for sure. Coz what did I get? More prezzies! Oh boy, I can't wait to see what's in here. My good pal Cappy and Oliver sent it to me as a belated barkday present.

I think I know what it is. It looks familiar!

Aha! I bet it is a Garfield doll. I'd recognize those orange and black markings anywhere.

Wheee! I love it! It's perfect coz Mommie had to throw out my old one coz it got too dirty so now I have a Garfield doll again.

They even sent me a barkday card. Thanks Cappy and Oliver!

And look what I have here. Even more belated barkday prezzies. This one is from Uncle Josh, Cherokee and Kody. Isn't he cute? Look at that face. Teehee! I love carrying him around.

Thanks Uncle Josh, Cherokee and Kody. What great pals you are! I love my squid and green toy. It is perfect for St. Patrick's day! They also sent me a card. It says these are some manly gifts for me. Yup I am a man now coz I am 7 years old. Teehee!

I love licking my new toys.

They are so soft.

Don't worry squidee. I will get to you soon enough. He has squeakers in his head and all of his tentacles. Plus there is also a rattle in his head and some crunchy stuff. So awesome!

I'm 7 Years Old Today!

Oh boy! It's my barkday! I am seven years old today. My good pal Jasmine sent me a barkday package a few days ago. I could not wait so I opened it up right away.

Hmmm...Wonder what's in here.

Ooooh. There's lots of stuff under the packing peanuts.

Wow! A barkday cupcake toy! Check it out. It says Birthday Boy and has little bones on it. I love it!

And a pack of sweet potato fries. Yummmie!!!

Thanks Jasmine! I love everything. You and your Mommie are the best!

Then yesterday Uncle took me to the mall. At first we planned to go on my actual barkday but the forecast said it would rain so we went yesterday. True enough today has been all cloudy and rainy so I am staying home. He got me a doggie cupcake from Sprinkles. It was soooooo yummmy!! Here I am posing outside with my treat. I got lots of pats and smiles at the mall. Uncle took me into some shops and checked out some watches. I stood up on my hind feet so I could take a peek at the display window to see. I think it is better to shop for treats though.

The pupcake was delicious. I did not get to finish the whole thing though. Mommie said only a little at a time to be safe.

Today, I woke up real early coz I was excited about my barkday. I knew there would be more goodies coz Mommie was busy baking last night. I just know it was for me. Then she put all my barkday goodies on the table for a pictorial so I could not play with my new toys. So I just kept running around with this barkday cake stuffie. I got this at my barkday party last year and Jasmine got me a mini version for this year. I love them both!

Soon Mommie was done with her preparations and I posed with my barkday loot. Wowie all the stuff from Jasmine and the necklace from Hana and a barkday cake and a barkday balloon. Mommie even had a barkday hat for me. We took a picture with the candle from Jasmine.

Then another pic with the number 7 candle. We're gonna save the other for next year coz I can't use my number candle next year anymore. Hehe!

And finally, it was time to eat cake. Yummie! Mommie used peanut butter and carrots. So delicious. Wish I could finish the entire thing.

But I did lick off most of the icing.

Before taking a bite out of the cake. After eating some cake, I proceeded to pop my balloon. It was so much fun but Mommie said I popped it too fast so she was not able to get a picture.

Here is the recipe for my barkday cake. Mommie only baked half of this recipe this time coz I was the only one going to eat it.
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

Mix together flour and baking soda. Add everything else and mix well. Put non-stick spray on a baking pan and pour the cake batter in. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until a toothpick comes out clean when you poke the cake in the middle.

You can puree low fat cottage cheese to use for icing. Or even yogurt or cream cheese. Carrot pieces or dog candy sprinkles can be used to decorate it, too.
