Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Christmas Pictures

I hope everyone had as great a Christmas as I did. I got some really pretty greeting cards and one from my pals Yukon and Kiska had their doggie smell in it and even some of Kiska's fur. I took lots time sniffing their card. My pal Candy also sent me this awesome bandana. It has some glitters on it.

Mommie let me play with this Coca Cola soda bottle. It is shaped like a ball so it was really fun to play with. It would roll all over so I kept chasing it. She wrapped up the top part so I would not get hurt while chewing on the opening. I think I would make a great Coke spokesdoggie.

Grandma got me this alligator stuffie. I love playing with it. See me opening it up in the video below.

Mommie and Daddy also got me some delicious Wellness wet food and this balloon dog they called Jorge (they pronounced it Horheh). He lasted only a few seconds coz one swipe of my paw promptly deflated him. Poor Jorge! Now he is just 2-dimensional. Sniff! Mommie propped him up against the wall near my water bowl so he can still stand up. While I was drinking water, I stopped and gave him a kiss on the nose before continuing to drink. I felt I had to kiss him to say sorry for flattening him.

My new cousins from Wisconsin sent me a cute pink piggie stuffie. I love it! I brought it to bed with me last night.

Hana's family gave me some yummy treats. It's made of sweet potato, apples and salmon. Yummm!!! Daddy even tried it and said it was good. We visited them and I played with Leslie's toys. My favorite was this ice cream stuffie. It has a rattle inside.

Mommie and Daddy also took me to see some Christmas lights. We heard about this house on the news.

Its got everything. A sleigh with Santa and reindeers, a ferris wheel, angels, a gingerbread house with smoke coming out of the chimney, an airplane, and much more. It even had a movie projecting on their garage door. The kids enjoyed watching the movie.

I hope I get even more prezzies when I see my other cousins in January.

Blackmail Via Poopoo

With Grandma out of town, I am back to being by myself when everyone is at work. I don't like being left alone. I got used to having Grandma with me. I feel so abandoned. And I know when they are about to leave coz they coax me to go potty. Usually I am the one who initiates the potty session. I will paw someone to let me go or sit by the door to signal that I need to go. But if they are the ones who initiate it that means I will be left behind and they want to ensure I have emptied myself so there will be no accidents. So I tried not going when they ask hoping they would not leave me. Sometimes it works coz they are afraid if they leave and I have not done the deed, they will find poop when they come home. But mostly it just delays things coz they really have to go to work and can't be late. Daddy tried walking me a couple of times before to induce pooping. I can't help but potty when I go for a walk. I do not mind if they leave me after I have a walk because I am pretty tired so I just fall asleep. It's been raining so I haven't gone for a walk for days. So I thought of a plan to get him to walk me. I waited until it was nearly time for him to go to work, then I wiped my bottom on the floor to signal I wanted to potty. Then I ran to my leash to show him he had to walk me. But instead he just let me out to the terrace coz he thought I was ready to go immediately. So I had to keep dragging my butt all over the floor but refusing to go to the terrace. Finally he got the idea that I would only potty if I got to walk and if I did not walk I would poop as soon as he left coz I was already ready to go. He laughingly told Mommie how I was blackmailing him. Threatening to potty inside if he did not walk me. It worked though coz he walked me. Nyahahahahaha!

I Love Being Outside

Oh boy! I got to go for a walk for two days in a row. I've been a bundle of energy these past few days and kept going to my leash to give the 'Let's Go For A Walk' signal so finally Mommie and Daddy took me to the nearby tennis court so I could sniff around and investigate and walk around off-leash. Ah the freedom! It felt so good to be outdoors and unfettered. I love being outside! On the second day, I even ran after a tennis ball we found. I ran so fast I almost overtook the ball and had to put on the brakes. Mommie could hear my nails on the concrete screeching me to a halt and my behind almost went up in the air from the sudden stop. After a couple of runs I got tired so we went home and I went straight to bed. Maybe we can go again tonight.

Chuckle Buddy

Grandma has gone out of town so I'm gonna be all by myself again while everyone is at work. Sniff!

They got me this Chuckle Buddy dog to keep me company so I won't be lonely. It is a hoot! It keeps rolling all over the floor while laughing. The laughter is a bit maniacal which is quite creepy so we did not have the whole video with the laughter on. But it is fun to play with. I try my best to grab ahold of it but the tail keeps smacking me away. When I am successful at catching it, I keep it from moving so I can groom it. Mommie swears the laughing did not sound that scary in the store.

Blowing Coat

My timing is off this year. All summer long my fur kept coming in thicker and thicker. And now that it is so cold, it is falling out in bunches. Everyday Mommie finds little balls of my fur all over the floor and bed. I still have a lot of fur but my pink belly is starting to show already.
