The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

My Barkday Pawty

We had a blast this afternoon. Thanks all for coming and for the prezzies and food and treats! We got cake and liver treats. Yummm! Luna and Loki were at the front at the treatline with me jumping up from underneath them to get my share coz I am the smallest. Abby wore her pretty bandana. We sniffed snouts quite a few times. Ice kept standing on his hind legs and waving with both hands to get attention. So cute! And Miko kept trying to romance the girls. Haha! Loki and I even had a little tug-of-war with the plush sushi that Abby gave me. It is the first time I got to play tug-of-war with another dog. It was great! Hana kept things lively with her stories and wore her pretty necklace with little hearts on it.

I did really well and had great gum color throughout the day and no spots. I was walking and jumping around with the best of them. And I was lucky coz I got to be off leash so I could explore and be free. I even peed on a post quite far from where we had setup our stuff. The others had their leashes on so they had limited area to explore. I was still so excited after the party and could not sleep on the drive home. When we got home, I got my new toys from the car and played with them in the garage. I finally dozed off among my loot.

Here's my birthday cake. It is a Peanut Butter Carrot Cake. We also made some treat bags for the pups to take home.
Here is the recipe

C'mon gimme the good stuff!--Loki.
He got a tortilla to come to him just by looking at it. Now that is a poweful stare!

Hana in her festive ribbons. They are really fancy with hearts and stuff on it.

Ice the Eskie and his brother Miko were stylishly dressed.

Hana, Loki, Luna and Abby waiting for treats.

I scarfed down my barkday cake.

Hey, there's some dog looking back at me from under all that cake-- Abby

Here I am opening Abby's gift.

Today's loot: A singing barkday cake from Hana, a talking treat ball with minty treats from Lx2, a set of shrimp sushi from Abby and a moose doll from Ice & Miko. A great haul!!!!

Posing with my haul from yesterday and today.

And finally dozing off among my loot and dreaming of my wonderful barkday weekend celebration.

It's My Barkday!

Whoopee! It is my 6th barkday today. I woke up extra early coz I was so excited. Mommie let me open one of the presents last night. It was a new collar with a shamrock design from Miss Joanne and Maddie. Just in time for St. Patrick's day. And this morning, I got my bacon and egg birthday breakfast. Yumm!!!! After breakfast, I got to open another gift from my pal Cappy the Eskie. It was matching ponchos for me and Jasper. Plus a matching blanket. They are so pretty. Cappy's Mommie is sure talented. She said she started knitting them in January. Then Mommie's friends came over and got me a bunch of balloons. I am waiting for them to weaken so that it will be time for me to pounce on them. After dinner I opened Mommie's present. It was a tiger toy. Goodie! When I bite into it, it squeaks and the tongue and tail stretch out. Neat-o! And tomorrow, Hana, Ice and Miko are throwing me a barkday pawty. Wowee! Aren't they the best pals ever? I can't wait to see them. I am so excited it is hard to go to sleep. Here are pix we took today. You can click on it to make it bigger.
