The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Thinking Of Getting A Dog

Taking care of a dog is a BIG responsibility. Dogs are totally dependent on their masters their entire lives so there are a lot of things to consider. Here are some things to think about before getting a dog.

My Dog House

American Eskimo
Here is a picture of my dog house. It is outside in the backyard. There is a little lamp outside and some plants. On the left is a pot puppy. Pot puppy is made of inverted plant pots. Auntie made him for Mom before she got me. Mommie always wanted a dog but did not know how to take care of one so all she had were her stuffed toy doggie and that pot puppy. But of course they could not play with her so she finally got up the courage to get a real doggie. I don't sleep in my dog house though. I sleep inside the real house. Mom says the doggie house is more for emergencies like if it rains and there is no one to bring me inside. I do not see that happening though coz I am always inside when no one is around coz the neighbors complain when I bark. And I bark if I am outside coz when I hear people walking by the backyard I have to let them know I am there. The other use of the dog house is Mom hides snacks in there when we play hide and seek. That is always the first place I look.

Hi Casper, what a nifty dog house! It looks very spiffy with the plants and lantern by the door, just like a human's house! The pot puppy makes a very nice yard sculpture too. My mom put a plastic igloo dog hosue in the yard when I was little, but I never went inside of it.

do you ever go in your dog house? i know doggies don't like doghouses, you'd rather get wet in the rain than be in your house, huh? you've got a very cool doghouse though, can i move in?

Your human is very creative! Really nice pot puppy and nice house!

As for our humans hiding our treats. Hah, as if it was ever a challenge. We always win!

Have fun and take care!

I go in there to get treats that Mom hides. One time I was in there and Mommie took off the roof and pet me while I was lying down inside. Hahaha! We'll see this winter if I will stay in the rain or seek shelter in my doggie house. I just hope the snails don't beat me to it. The last time it rained a lot of snails were in there. Good thing I was in the real house.

Hi Casper! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog about Little Guy. I think he's an Eskie mix. One of my 3 dogs is a 12 year old American Eskimo Dog. One of my dogs, Rusty who is a Pom/Chi mix has a blog at http://www.RustyTheDog.com. Check it out!

Hi Casper,

Your dog house looks really neat! I just got a purple dog house of my very own not too long ago. I play in it sometimes when I go out in my yard, but like you I don't stay out in it when my Mom and my sister Willow aren't home. I haven't tried my house out yet when it's raining - I'd rather be in the big house with everyone else. :-) Oh, and Mom says she likes your puppy pot too!
