The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Nasty Bite

We had to go to the ER this weekend coz my face started swelling. There were red patches on my nose and lips and chin and my muzzle just kept getting bigger. It was so itchy so I scratched my face on the carpet. The doctor thinks something nasty may have bitten me on the face and I got an allergic reaction. By the time we got to the ER my lips were so thick Mom had a hard time lifting it to check my gums. The doctor gave me two shots to get the swelling down. I felt yucky after the shots and threw up lots of times. And one of the shots made me feel so sleepy. Mom said I looked like a different doggie coz my face was so puffed up. I am feeling better today. So far no puking today. I do not want to post pix of my face all red and puffy so I am gonna post some pix from when we went out to dinner last month. :D

I was so well behaved and stayed in my seat. That's my little water cup that Mom brings with us when we eat out. It is more discreet than having a real doggie bowl on the table. I got to have some of the bread but what I really wanted was that porkchop Momma was eating. Sadly, I did not get any. I like sitting on the chair coz I am high enough and get to see everything. But one time, they put my stroller at the table instead of the chair so I was too short to see what was served.

YAY! Casper, I am so glad that you're feeling better now! I hope that the no pukies continue and the yucky shots they gave you wear off completely. Keep up the good work big eskie brother!
hugs,
Ronak

Casper, I am glad you are feeling better. I hope there is no more puking and that was the last of it.

That's neat you get to eat at people restaurants!! A stroller? I didn't realize YOU had a stroller. I recall your nephew had one. Do you have a pic of you in your stroller?

Hi All,
No more pukies!! Whoopie!

Hi Hana,
My cousin gave me his stroller coz his parents bought him a new one. So it is the same stroller I used when we went to SF.

If I was smaller Mom could take me to even more places. But it is ok, I like my size. :D

Hi Casper,
I don't know if you mailed out your eskie cards yet, but the zip code for me is incorrect on the mailing list. It should be 94552.

Hi, I am Foxy Lady, and I just found your site! I am a cream color Toy Eskie. My mom's mom found me on a highway in Illinois and gave me to her. I was shaved when they found me and at first they thought I was a large chihohwa, bad speller, then once my coat began comming in everyone, even the vet said I was a palm, an oversized palm at 10 pounds! Finally, I took it apon myself to look up some Eskie info hopping my mom would take the hint and thank goodness she did! Now she just has to make the vet change the records next time I get my shots!

I am glad you are getting better. That sounded awful what you had. Mom rushed me to the vet once cause I couldn't stop gagging and they gave me these nasty pills I had to take for over a week. Yuky! But I knew I needed them and always came when I knew it was time for them. That's because we Eskie's are the bestest dogs ever!
