Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Nuuk & Tako

Nuuk and Tako came from Quebec to visit. It was so cool meeting them. We had an Eskiemeet to welcome them to California. It was their first time here and they drove a looooooong way to get here. Here we are posing at Eskie Rock. That is Tako, Nuuk and Me braving the strong winds in Pacifica. Teehee! Loki and Luna were so nice to let us all meetup at their place.

Tako looks like a little polar bear cub. He is much tinier than I am.

Nuuk on the other hand is almost the same size as me.

Here we are saying hello. It is great to finally not be the smallest Eskie around.

This is Luna.

And her twin brother Loki.

Kona and Abby relaxing in the sunroom.

Zero is the youngest among us but I think he is the largest.

Hana was posing for pix at one of the rocks.

I had a great time running around with all the Eskies.

Zero, me, Kona, Hana on the trail.

Kona and Zero happily checking out the backyard.

The next day Nuuk, Tako and I spent the day in SF looking at the sights. We went to loads of places and people kept wanting to take our pictures and pet us. It was loads of fun but really tiring. Mommie had to take me in the stroller when she saw me looking tired.

I met a swan at the Palace of Fine Arts.

The three of us squeezed into the car and went around the city. It was fun riding around with N&T.

Here we are at the crooked street.

Mommie did not get to take any more pix coz I was tired so she had to push me in my stroller. N&T had lots of energy. They were able to walk all day long. It was such fun to be out but two days in a row was a bit too much for me. The next few days were not fun at all. I had a some bleeding in my nose and gums, I lost my appetite, had the runs, threw up and just felt icky. Sigh! If I was healthy I could be out and about everyday. At least I am starting to recover now. I am eating again so Mommie is relieved.

Abby's Barkday Pawty

We went to Abby's house last weekend to celebrate her barkday. She had an awesome party. Her Mommie even baked a cake and made home-made ice cream for us. So yummmy! Plus we all got to go home with treat bags. Abby's backyard is way cool! There was even agility stuff there and a wading pool so we could get our feet wet. She had party hats too and even the plates and tablecloth had doggies on them. I had so much fun. I could not sleep even in the car on the way home. And it took a while for me to settle down at home. Mommie said I snored when I finally got to sleep. Teehee!

Here we all are: Hana, Me, Abby, Kona and Zero. Kona is Zero's Momma.

Abby the birthday girl enjoying a hug from her Mommie. I like her bandana.

There were lots of hellos to be said.

Here we are sporting our festive party hats.

Kona enjoying the shade in the agility tunnel.

Zero was able to pin me down pretty quickly. I surrendered right away. He is much bigger than me. Teehee!

Kona and Zero tried out the wading pool.

I was feeling really good so I was able to try some jumping. Here I am getting a running start to go over the horizontal bar.

And I make it! All the time keeping my eye on the prize.

My turn in the tunnel! I like it coz it's blue. My favorite color!

Zero and I checked out one of Abby's toys. She has a whole basket full of them.

Our Mommies sure do chat a lot. But we also got to hang out at the dining table.

This is me and Abby sniffing the flower stuffie I got her.

Hana in action!

Kona looking goofy.

Kona and me chatting.

Abby jumped up on the sofa to overlook all the goings on. She is a great hostess.

Weekend Activities

I have been having a blast on the weekends. I have been doing so well that Mommie is letting me out more. I get to come along whenever they eat out at restaurants. I always get my own seat and I get lots of pats from the other patrons and they say I am so well-behaved. They always ask what kind of doggie I am. Most think I am a mini Samoyed or a giant Pomeranian. Teehee! There are a few that can tell I am an American Eskimo. But for some reason people think I am a girl. I don't think I look like a girl doggie.

I got to go to the different city downtowns. They are all so different but a lot of them have outdoor seating. So that is cool! The other weekend, we ate near a lake and I got to watch ducks swim by me. Some people on a boat that passed by even waved to me. Maybe next time I can also ride the boat.

Yesterday we went to Campbell and checked out the BBQ festival. There was lots of music and some people were dancing in the street. They had lots of picnic tables set up so there was lots of places to sit and eat. I sat in my chair and watched the people walking by. Some came over to say hi to me. After that we went to San Jose to check out the Bastille Day celebration. They had a circus tent set up with acrobatic displays. There were tons of people. We only went into a couple of shops before going home coz I was tired.

Today and for the rest of the week Mommie is making me rest so I can be in top shape to attend Abby the Eskie's barkday pawty. I can't wait!
