The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Casper In Technicolor

Mommie took me to the hospital again today coz my foot is still red, swollen and painful. This time it was my real doctor who took a look at my foot. The last time she was not there coz it was after hours so we had to see the ER doc. She said I needed stronger antibiotics because of my Evans Syndrome. So she presribed some new ones for me plus some pain killers. She also instructed Mommie to soak my foot in Nolvasan solution twice a day and put a sock on it to keep me from licking it. The foot soak is not so bad but the new antibiotic pill is huge! Good thing it can be cut up. And the sock is no match for me. No matter how Mommie puts it on and ties it on me, I can get it off. Hahaha!

The painkiller is great. I can play again with my toys. I ran around the room after my toys for the first time in days. And Uncle and my cousins dropped off some belated Christmas presents for me. A basketball, soccerball, football and baseball. Oh boy!

My blood test results are 39% PCV and 248k platelets. Phooey! It is down again. Still in the normal range but doctor wants me to come back in a month to make sure it is not a downward trend coz this is the biggest drop I've had in a while. My liver enzymes and cholesterol is also a little elevated. And what does this mean? Another pill. Mommie has to go pick up a new pill I should take. Yuk!

Mommie made this framed art of me. This is what an American Eskimo Dog would look like in different colors. Thought I'd share a picture of it with you all. We have it up on the living room wall.

Casper, you're still very handsome in different colored fur. Yay for the painkiller, but boo on the antibiotic horse tablet. We hope things start to look up very soon and your paw gets back to normal.

I am glad the new meds are working better, even if they are hard to swallow. I bet it is hard for mommie to outsmart an Eskie like you with just a sock...but you should not lick the sore! That series of colored Caspers is one of our favorite images...I gave dad a t-shirt with that picture on it for one of my first Gotcha Days!

Hi Casper,
How is your foot? I hope you are all healed and feeling like an adventure is overdue! Stay healthy, my friend.

Casper, I'm thrilled that your pain meds are working so that you can play with all your toys again. And all those new ones too. But you have to be a good boy and stop pulling off that sock. Mommie won't make you wear it for very long and it's important for your healing. Your multi-colored series just goes to prove that doggies don't come any cuter than you!

Hi Siku,
We went to the po box but no fur yet. Will check again on the weekend. Can't wait to sniff you.

My foot is a bit better. There is still a gap between my nail and pawpad. Mommie cleaned out more of the crusted blood this morning. I don't like Mommie touching it but she said she has to clean it. It is still a bit tender but not as painful as before.

Hi Casper - I hope by this time your foot is healed. We hope you had a great Valentine's Day.

Mom LOVED your picture - very Andy Warhol. If Dad didn't stop her, she'd have pictures and figurines of us all over the house - kind of like a dog museum.

Hugs and yips,
Cappy ~~ and Oliver too

Hi Casper,

When Happy came over, I hid! I was upstairs with my Dad. I could hear Happy downstairs and Dad saw me go under Mom's crafts table. He tried to lure me out, but I would not come out. When Mom came upstairs, I was still hidden. She couldn't even find me. I was so well hidden. So, I never even got to see Happy. I could only hear her.

Everyone loves my dollie! Thank you so much for having you mom make him for me. Your mom should also show a picture of the dollie's back because everyone thought the tail was extra cute and you cannot tell it is there from the photo.

Can you help us make an Eskie Boy happy? My family will adopt the Eskie male on death row at LA Animal Control Lancaster (ID A4088324) and we have a means of driving him to ABQ but we need someone to go to Animal Control there and do the pre-stuff. According to them, we must go today with $100 (cash or check...I canPayPal you), a CA ID and put a hold on the dog. He must be neutered before they will release him. THEN they give a pickup date (after Wed.) The Dugan's Barkery folks will drive from San Diego to get him and bring him to me but can't do two trips to LA (Lancaster, actually). HELP ME SAVE THIS BOY...do you know anyone near NE LA who can help today?
