The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

Wine Country Eskie Meet

Saturday was super fun! I got to go to an Eskie meet in Napa Valley. I met my blogging pals Teddy and Sierra and I got to meet Jackson who is a mini Eskie like me. He is my pal from the Eskie board. And my gal pal Abby was there. Too bad Ramses could not come coz he was still recovering from a bout of HGE.

We all met up at the Alpha Omega winery. It was so pretty and relaxing there. The staff was great and brought out bottles of wine for tasting. Mommie does not drink and I am not allowed anymore but everyone else was enjoying the wine.

This is Jackson. Isn't he a cutie?

He is just a little bit bigger than me. The chair was just the right size for the two of us.

Here are Abby, Teddy and Jackson enjoying the shade under the table.

A closeup of Abby. Her Mommie was in Napa the same day I was last here. We even went to the same places but missed each other by just a few hours.

The winery had this big grassy area and this cool fountain. Mommie let me run around a little and sniff my way around.

I think Teddy wanted to taste the water.

He is 40 pounds and looks like my big brother but he is younger than I am.

The winery also had these picnic benches. The area where we were had even fancier tables and chairs but Mommie did not have a picture.

Beside the grassy part were all these grape vines.

Here we are trying our best to get a group shot. You can click the image to make it bigger.

And our official photographer... Auntie Elise!

After the wine tasting, we all got in our cars and were off to get some lunch. Funny how everyone in the group drove Toyota cars. Here I am looking out the window, looking at Teddy looking out the window.

We had lunch at the Silverado Brewing Co.

Teddy, Sierra and I were all excited as soon as we got out of the car.

It was also Uncle Jeff's birthday. The brownie and ice cream he got sure looked tasty.

I was sitting beside Auntie Mercy. She gave me lots of loving all through lunch. Teehee! Teddy's Mommie, Auntie Mimi baked treats for everyone. They were soo good. I think Jackson and I ate way too much. Haha! But we just could not resist.

And neither could Auntie Elise and Auntie Mimi.

I kept my eyes on the bags of treats for most of the lunch hour.

And I tried some cute poses so that Mommie would give me some of her tritip. But to no avail.

Teddy wanted some too. He has a very unusual tongue. Some parts are purple. Isn't that cool?

After lunch we checked out Fideaux, the doggie boutique. Jasper was a treat monster and kept eating from the treat buckets on the floor. Haha! I checked out each bucket too but was too shy to take any. It was a super hot day so we stopped by the A&W for rootbeer floats. Mommie got me a cup of water with loads of ice and laced with a little rootbeer. I loved it!

When I got home, I was still too excited to sleep. I rushed to play with my sheep dollie. I zonked out around midnight already. But the next day I was pretty sleepy the entire day. I can't wait for the next Eskie meet!!!
