The following causes are very important to me so we have set up these fundraisers to help out my fellow doggies. These designs are available on shirts and other gift items and all commissions earned go to each cause.

Find A Cure For IMHAI was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in 2006. It is a combination of IMHA/AIHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia/Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) and IMT/ITP (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia/Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura). I was hospitalized for over a week and received numerous blood transfusions and a cocktail of immunosuppressants to save my life. I was weaned off the medications due to complications such as Cushings Disease but after a few months off the drugs, I relapsed again so I am currently back on medication. I continue to fight this disease everyday. There is no cure for this disease so please help support the fight for a cure. Meisha's Hope Fund and Morris Animal Foundation has teamed up to find a cure for IMHA with Autoimmune/Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia Fund #338. Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia is a serious blood disorder and scientists estimate over 50% of dogs diagnosed with it will die from the condition. Affected dogs show signs of weakness, lethargy, exercise intolerance and anorexia. This deadly blood disorder occurs when something triggers the dog's body to attack its own red blood cells. Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, this disease has a very high mortality rate. Many dogs die shortly after diagnosis, so an effective early treatment is critical. All commissions earned from this design will go to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation.

American Eskimo Dog RescueEveryday, people are working together to rescue Eskies and to help them find their forever homes. Show your support for these wonderful people and organizations. All commissions earned from this cartoon American Eskimo dog design will go to Eskie Rescue.

Opt To AdoptMommie adopted me in 2005 and she always says it is the best thing ever. Loving dogs are waiting in shelters around the country to be adopted. Opt to adopt and make a loving forever home for these poor dogs. All commissions earned from this design will go to local animal shelters.

It's My Barkday Today!

Thanks for all the wonderful barkday wishes from everyone. I am 9 years old today. My last year in the single digits. Oh my! How time flies.

They took me to a beach in Half Moon Bay last week for my advanced barkday outing. I walked all the way to the water and got my little paws wet. What fun! I used to be afraid of the surf and would run away from it. But the water was calm so I walked right into the water. If Mommie did not stop me, I would have waded all the way in.

After my walk we had lunch at Sam's Chowder House. While waiting for a table, a little girl played with me. We finally got a table with a view of the ocean. So nice here. I got to eat some of the bread that they served. Yummm!

Today, Mom baked me a barkday pupcake. She let me eat half of it only to make sure my tummy does not get upset. But it is so yummy. I keep smelling the air near the table where she put the other half.

They also got me balloons and some dried chicken treats. The treats are also super delicious. I wish I could eat them all. I popped one of my balloons already. I will save the other one for tomorrow.

And another gift they got me was .... my own room!

It's neat-o! You can fold it up so anywhere I go, I can take my room with me.

It is so spacious. All my pals can fit in it. We put the blanket that Cappy's Mommie made for me in there. It fits just right.

Being in the room makes me sleepy. Time to snooze with my doggie pals. Good night all!

Also, Prince Peepers got me some delicious doggie treats! And Candy and Princess sent me this awesome bandana. Thank you so much!

A belated happy barkday Casper! Mommie's computers got attacked on Sunday so she's been trying to get them up and working again since then. So, although I kept pestering her, I could't get online to send my greetings. Looks like you had a FABULOUS day!! An ocean outing, a yummy pupcake, and a new house--what more could a doggie ask for?!! Again congrats!!!!

Happy birthday Casper

Casper, I have a question about my dog.
Her name is Bailey and shes a year and a two year old Mini american eskimo. She has been getting tear stains for a while now but I keep on trying to wipe them off. What can I do? What product is good? Water doesn't seem to work. Will I never get them off if its been there a while?

Thanks for all the barkday greetings everybody!!!

For Bailey, try saline solution. Mommie uses saline solution for my tears stains. She puts some on a cotton ball and wipes the stains everyday.

Is that just the prevent it, or to remove it? Would you recommend angel eyes?

We tried angel eyes before and it did not work. After couple of weeks using saline solution, the stains started to lighten up. And then just continue to use always.

I like your new room! I should ask my parents for a room of my own, too. But my sister would probably use it all the time. Anyhow, yours looks really nifty! That'd be neat if Cappy's Mom made you a matching blankie.

Yappy Barkday, Casper! Wow, 9 years old!
