A Broken Promise
Anyway, they took me to the doggie store so we could get some yummy treats to bring to Ronak. I decided to make the most of it and pick out goodies for myself, too. Mommie was too guilty to stop me. Haha! I picked out a bag of goodies for Ronak and a bag of goodies for myself. And I got this alligator greenie to chomp on.
It's so cute!
Hmmm I wonder where I will start.
So for the next few days, it was just me and Grandma. I waited by the door in case they would come home but eventually I'd see them on Skype and know it wasn't gonna happen. After we Skype I just go straight to bed and hope the next day will be the day they return. Sometimes I sleep with Grandma but sometimes I go to our bed and sleep on Mommie's side.
On the other end of the country, Mommie met up with Ronak and his Mommie and spent the afternoon with them. Both Mommies still hope that one day Ronak and I will be able to meet in the fur. I hope so, too. Daddy joined them for lunch and after he got out of the office so he got to meet the East Coast version of myself. Teehee! Ronak was super excited to meet Mommie. He was barking a greeting to her and could not keep still. He was so hyper. Haha! He kept asking for more of the treats Mommie brought. They were a big hit with him.
Isn't he cute?
And of course Mommie took pictures of him from all angles.
Ronak liked presenting Mommie with his beehind so she would give him a rubdown. He would do a cute little butt dance by slowly lifting one foot and then the other over and over while she gave him a rub just on top of where his tail is.
They took Mommie down to the waterfront where they spent a lazy afternoon. Here is Ronak enjoying the view.
He's just a little cuddlebug like me!
Mommie said the food in New York was pretty good. But her favorite was the doughnuts. They found this doughnut shop near their hotel on their last day. Creme brulee, pistachio, coconut creme, peanut butter glazed with a blackberry center. Mommie even went for another creme brulee doughnut after they ate all this.
Then finally, they came home. And with goodies!
Here I am inspecting what they brought back for me.
Mommie got me some doggie biscotti. I tried to open that one first. So crunchy and yummy!!!
After that I checked out what Ronak sent me. Wow! A whole assortment of New York themed cookies. Thanks buddy!
Oh what will I try first?
Yummmm.
Oh boy! Can I try another one?
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!! I'll do tricks for it.
Ahhh! I get to take a bite out of the Big Apple.
After I sampled the offerings, I decided to forgive them for leaving me behind. Teehee!

Oh Casper you and Ronak are practically twins! At least you got treats on their return and we like the NY cab cookie!
Best wishes molly
Casper, you are adorable and I just want to give you a big hug. :) Your pictures make me smile. :)
We wished you could have gone with to meet your friend, but are glad that you had grandma for company the days mommie and daddy were away. It looks like you DID get some pretty tasty treats as souvenirs. Ronak is cute, but he's no Casper!
Very interesting topic here in your site. Keep on posting this kind of topics. Very useful indeed.
